Our Company

Chaff City is a Western Australian owned and Operated Company, based in Pinjarra within the Peel Region. Chaff city has been operating for nearly 20 years and is owned by Rob and Teresa Clayton, managed by Garth King, in conjunction with Michelle Ashby as office manager. The Clayton family has been farming in West Kulin for many generations operating their hay, grain and livestock operations. This extensive farming and business background ensures Rob and Teresa bring a wealth of knowledge to Chaff City with a fully vertically integrated supply chain.  The quality control of this direct relationship allows the family and management to continue to drive the business forward as Western Australia’s premium large scale equine and stockfeed producer.

Chaff City has developed close relationships with additional suppliers to receive only the best quality assured grains and hay from its Western Australian growers. Our growers benefit from this arrangement as we provide a service to them, including product Retrieval/Receival, storage on site and on time payment. 

With a state of the art processing plant and storage facilities, Chaff City is a leading supplier of all Steam Cut Chaff products (Oaten, Wheaten and Lucerne) and processed grains including all Clipped and Dressed, steam rolled/ flaked grains, pellets, mueslis and mixes blended to your requirements. We produce quality products designed for the Equine Industry, Alpacas, Lamas, Poultry and other farm animals. 

The objective of Chaff City is to be the state’s leading Manufacturer of the highest quality Chaff and Grain products for Equine and farm animal needs. Chaff City products can be found at any good stockfeed stores and rural agencies, and we can handle your export needs.

The Mill currently operates Monday to Friday (Saturday mornings for pickups only).
