Our Company
Chaff City is a Western Australian owned and Operated Company, based in Pinjarra within the Peel Region. Chaff City has been operating since the year 2000 and was purchased by Rob and Teresa Clayton in 2006. The Clayton families have farmed in the Wheatbelt town of Kulin for many generations where they are still presently farming. This ensures they have a quality supply of Grains and Hay to supplement the supply to the mill.
The Mill currently operates Monday to Friday (Saturday mornings for pickups only).
We produce quality products designed for the Equine Industry, Alpacas, Lama’s, Poultry and other farm animals. (Please refer to product list).
The objective of Chaff City is to be the state’s leading Manufacturer of the highest quality Chaff and Grain products for Equine and farm animal needs. We source the highest quality products from all over Western Australia. Chaff City products can be found at any good stockfeed stores, rural agencies and we can handle your export needs.
Chaff/Grain Mill
With a state of the art processing plant and storage facilities, Chaff City is a leading supplier of all Steam Cut Chaff products (Oaten, Wheaten and Lucerne) and processed grains including all Clipped and Dressed, steam rolled/ flaked grains, pellets, muesli’s and mixes blended to your requirements.
Growers
Chaff City has developed close relationships with its suppliers to receive only the best quality assured grains and hay from its Western Australian growers. Our growers benefit from this arrangement as we provide a service to them, including product Retrieval/ Receival, storage on site and on time payment. The majority of the grains are sourced from the Wheatbelt area; this is one of the finest and largest growing areas for cereals and grains in the world. Western Australia accounts for over 50% of Australia’s exports of wheat.
